Chief Executive Officer and PresidentScott Knoll was most recently the founder and President of Aperture, the audience targeting and measurement technology platform that provides business intelligence to blue chip brands, agencies and online publishers. Scott has more than 18 years of global experience in Internet technology, digital advertising and traditional media. Prior to Aperture, Scott served as CEO of BlackFoot, a digital advertising solutions company. He also spent 6 years as a senior executive at DoubleClick Inc., directing the launch and development of the DoubleClick ad network in nine countries, including Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, China, Taiwan, New Zealand, Singapore, and Korea. Scott served as managing director of DoubleClick Asia Pacific and Vice President and General Manager of Global Marketer Solutions. Previously, Scott co-founded and served as COO of Verified Person, and has held management roles at Time Warner Inc. and Andersen Consulting. Scott holds a Masters in Business Administration degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University.

Co-Founder and Chief Technology OfficerOver the past 15 years, Will has been a pioneering developer innovating on behalf of such firms as American Express, Dun and Bradstreet and the Better Business Bureau. He was an early open source advocate in the corporate environment and has a record of architecting technical solutions for complex, extremely high volume, mission critical functions using open source technology and commodity hardware. Most recently, Will led the effort at Connexus to rewrite the backend processing of one of the largest behavioral ad servers in the world while contributing to that firm’s strategies concerning optimization, taxonomy and compliance in their core ad serving business.

Senior Vice President, Product ManagementDavid has worked with several startups and mature technology organizations and has over 12 years of executive product management, marketing and strategy experience. Prior to joining AdSafe, David was an executive with Safenet's digital media services group, the leading provider of digital protection and measurement services. He managed their portfolio of digital asset protection services, transforming it to take advantage of emerging opportunities in digital media distribution at major studios, record labels and publishers. Prior, at Message Labs, one of the world's largest software-as-a-service messaging security organizations, David was responsible for the product management and product strategy for North America and Asia Pacific markets. Before MessageLabs, David ran product management and marketing for Mail.com, a consumer webmail service. David is very active in the NYC startup community. He's a mentor with First Growth Venture Network, a mentoring program for high potential seed and early stage startup tech companies in and around New York City. He also sits on the Council for Accountable Advertising. |

Chief Revenue Officer and Senior Vice PresidentMichael joined AdSafe in early 2012 to lead the charge in driving continued growth in the U.S. and UK as well as develop its business across key international markets. He brings over 12 years of sales experience in the technology and data driven marketing industries. Prior to AdSafe, Michael served as the Vice President of Ad Sales for VEVO, the world’s leading all-premium music video and entertainment platform. There he led the company’s East and Midwest revenue producing operations. Previously he was Vice President, MTV Digital Sales, at MTV Networks, managing all aspects of digital sales for MTV.com, MTVU college sites and related vertical networks.

Kiril Tsemekhman

Chief Data Officer and Senior Vice PresidentKiril's carrer in online advertising spans two innovative startups. Most recently as a CTO and Chief Scientist at Red Aril, Kiril led design and development of Data Management Platform, a unique combination of real-time audience segmentation and targeting, proprietary real-time bidding solution (trading desk) and sophisticated in-depth audience analytics. He built and managed a team of engineers and scientists with whom he introduced innovative 'Big Data' analytics and real-time solutions including distributed non-relational in-memory and analytics data stores. Red Aril was acquired by iCrossing/Hearst. Prior to Red Aril, he led the development of a sophisticated behavioral segmentation, classification and modeling platforms at NebuAd. Kiril also co-founded, developed the technology for and successfully operated a database marketing company. Before venturing into the online advertising world, Kiril had a career in research and taught physics and chemistry at the University of Washington in Seattle. Kiril holds a Ph. D in Theoretical Physics from the University of Washington. |
Terance Kinsky |
Vice President, Technical ServicesTerance is a member of AdSafe’s founding team and currently leads the technical services group responsible for integrating and managing all supply side/Ad Network clients. Terance has a deep level of online marketing experience gained from joining Commission Junction as a start-up in 2000. There, he ran the industry-leading Network Quality operation where he played an active role in establishing the Affiliate Marketing Code of Conduct. He served at Commission Junction until 2008, with his final role as Vice President of Client Solutions, managing the self-service CJ Access solution. This solution generated over $50M at the time of his departure. In addition to Network Quality, Terance lead product technology, professional services, and client services under the CJ Access umbrella. Prior to Commission Junction, Terance worked as an application engineer for DP Technology and IBM. Terance has an MS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Brooklyn Polytechnic University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland. |
Bryan St. John

Vice President, Head of Business OperationsBryan is a member of the founding team at AdSafe Media and is responsible for running the company’s business operations. In addition to his operational management, Bryan spearheads AdSafe’s strategic partnerships with demand-side platforms, sell-side platforms and exchanges. Prior to AdSafe, Bryan lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he focused on private equity investments in early-stage technology companies. Earlier in his career, he was a member of the Institutional Investor top-ranked team at Sanford Bernstein covering broker-dealers and exchanges, which is where he began to analyze exchange-based market dynamics that would later apply to the display advertising ecosystem. While at Bernstein, he co-authored a now standard white paper in the field, Institutional Equities / Searching For a New Business Model. Bryan is an Executive Board Member of the Timbofund. He holds a Masters in Business Administration degree from NYU Stern and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton College. |

Vice President, EngineeringChris has been with AdSafe since inception in 2009. He came on board having overseen network and systems architecture for some of the largest ad tech companies in the world. Formerly, he was the Director of Technical Operations at Conexxus, a leading developer of Compliance Content Management Software. Prior, he founded SafeRoute, a consulting firm that helped internet companies grow and scale their network, servers and applications. Before that, he oversaw systems and network architecture for Admodus, one of the first behavioral ad networks. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown College. |
Vadim Tsemekhman |
Senior Director, Product ManagementVadim joined AdSafe in March 2012 after working as Platform Optimization Manager at Red Aril and then, after its acquisition, at iCrossing. There Vadim managed ad ops team, worked directly with clients from sales to solution implementation and client management, managed integration with publishers, exchanges, and technology platforms, and participated in design and development of various technological solutions including RTB system, ad targeting and serving, user modeling, internal reporting. He also managed large data modeling, optimization, and analytics projects, as well as client-facing optimization and client reporting products based on data analytics. Prior to Red Aril, Vadim co-founded several start-ups. Before entering business world, Vadim was a research scientist at the Applied Physics Laboratory, University of Washington where he worked on the physics of water and ice in the upper atmosphere. Vadim holds M.S. degree from St.-Petersburg State Polytechnical University and Ph.D. in theoretical physics from the University of Washington. |
